Beyond converting one PDF
- Convert a batch. Up to twenty files in one go, each reviewable on its own tab.
- Import files you already have. QBO, QFX, OFX, QIF, MT940, CAMT.053, CSV and Excel are parsed in your browser, with no AI involved and no extraction to check.
- Skip pages you do not need. Choose which pages of a PDF to convert; the ones you skip are neither sent to the model nor charged.
- Send statements by email. Each account can have its own conversion address; attach a statement and the converted file comes back.
- Receipts and invoices too. A separate pipeline reads line items and assigns them to expense accounts you define.
Your files
Uploads and generated files are stored encrypted in the EU and deleted automatically after seven days, or sooner if you delete the conversion from your history. Documents sent to our AI providers are not used to train their models. We never ask for online banking credentials, because nothing in the product connects to a bank.

Frequently asked questions
Can I convert a PDF bank statement?
Yes. Ledger Tome extracts transaction data from PDF bank statements and writes it out as CSV, Excel, QBO, QFX, OFX, QIF, MT940, CAMT.053 or JSON. Every row is shown for review before anything is exported.
Can I convert scanned bank statements?
Yes, scanned and photographed statements go through an OCR step before extraction. They are the harder case: a skewed photo or a low-resolution scan can lose a digit, which is what the review step is for. A clear 300 DPI scan behaves much like a digital PDF.
What if my bank statement has multiple pages?
Ledger Tome automatically processes multi-page statements. Upload the entire PDF and all transactions across all pages will be extracted into a single output file.
Do you support bank statements in different languages?
Yes. Ledger Tome can process bank statements in multiple languages including English, Spanish, French, German, and others.
Can I convert old bank statements?
Yes. Unlike bank export tools that only provide recent data, Ledger Tome works with bank statements from any time period, including historical statements from years ago.
Does this work with different banks?
Yes. Ledger Tome handles varying bank statement layouts by analyzing the structure of each document using AI, without requiring pre-built templates.
Is the output compatible with accounting software?
It depends which format you export. QuickBooks Desktop reads Web Connect QBO files; Quicken reads QFX, not QIF; Xero documents OFX and recommends it where a bank offers it; some Sage products accept OFX and others a wider list. CSV and Excel go anywhere, but an accounting product usually wants its own column layout, so expect a mapping step. Each converter page states what its format carries and which software documents reading it.
